We will endeavour to match your clinical skills and experience with a job to suit your ambitions and lifestyle. Medacs International specialises in placing health professionals in contract positions for a minimum 1-year period. Shorter contracts are available in certain circumstances and can be even as short as three months in some critical care areas. UK hospitals are aware that health professionals from overseas need to keep professionally updated during their assignment, therefore as an employee you have the same entitlements as a health professional from the UK. You will be able to attend study days and to make use of the resources of the practice development team. Remember no matter what country you are from or going to work in there is always a period of adjustment to go through however excited you feel about the prospect. Don't be surprised if you feel like the new kid on the block for a while, this is all to be expected. Take this into consideration when deciding how long to commit to and allow yourself a settling in period. Our consultants are always here to give you friendly advice and support. |
